Black Love Summit [BLS]

"Black Love Summit" presentation will focus on practitioners of Black Love through history and emphasizing how we continue to care for each other locally.  #DayonesArt collective will share art and content as a tool of inspiration to highlight local leaders.  As a critique of the capitalist propaganda of Valentine's day, and the historical rhetoric in regards to Black History Month, this exhibition will shift the gaze toward a more diverse array of Black leaders who create opportunities and share compassion within their communities. Black Love is the the focus. The Black Utopian Fellowship in collaboration with #Dayonesart will create a zine as well as share films by an assortment of artists at The Clemente Center.
